Percheron Chenin Blanc/Viognier– Chenin and Viognier are not usual blending partners but this easy drinking South African brings out the potential of both. Generous fresh apricot, white peach and hints of jasmine on the nose. On the palate it has tight, white, fleshy stone fruit with a balancing sandy texture.
Percheron Shiraz/Mourvedre – Grapes for Percheron Shiraz Mourvedre has been sourced from traditional growers in the Swartland area of the Cape. The climate is perfect for viticulture with the low rainfall summer months, tempered by cool afternoon breezes. A bright, sandy nose that can only be Swartland in origin suggests summer pudding, Chinese 5 spice and crushed raspberries with a latent creaminess.
